The Asian cultures are fascinating because
of the the rich tradition and focus on serenity. Life is so hectic that many
people struggle to accomplish everything. I am one of those people with two
young energetic boys. This store was created to allow me to meet the needs of my
family while being present to see them grow up. It is important for me to teach
my children about the world and this store is one avenue. In fact, the name of
the store was inspired by my family. Anthems JADE is a combination of their
names; Ethan, James and Dan. On a professional level, I wanted to be challenged
and work with people while making a difference in communities near and far.
Personally and professional, I am a student of the world because I enjoy
different cultures, people and art and the circumstances that have shaped them.
It is my hope, my children will also be lifelong students of the world.
Friends and family look to me for suggestions on gifts and decorating which I
have enjoyed. When I start shopping, usually I don't know what I am looking for,
but I am looking to be inspired. If you are anything like me in this regard,
please email any questions, thoughts and ideas. I will provide you with
suggestions which you can chose to use or not - they are indeed just
suggestions. Sometimes, when I shop for others, I find wonderful things for
